TFW when an alert on your phone bursts your bubble. The Yelp alert said “Shannon B. has just reviewed your business.” This was news to me because I had only emailed Mrs. Brushia 5-minutes prior to the notification’s time stamp.
After many moons and evolutions around the sun, you already know something ain’t right because what kind of [edit] would leave a review for your business in mid-sentence without just cause?
We quickly called our contact at Yelp to request a review to remove the comment but she said, “opinions are like [edits]’s… everybody has one and this is hers. It may not be cute but it is what it is…”
Immediately, we understood the assignment and began meditating because if we were going to face this [edit], then we would have to open our heart to the truth whether we want to agree or not, accept it, and move on. This is where the growth is at.
